Pippin Takes Center Stage at St. Xavier Theatre

Nine Sacred Heart students will be preforming in St. Xavier Players production of Pippin. The musical opens March 17th at 7 pm.

Senior Payton Sims and juniors Emily Hilbrecht and Elise Coughlan have principal roles in the musical.

Pippin is the story of the first born son of Charlemagne, who is trying to find his purpose in life. Pippin goes on an adventure to find himself, and falls in love with a widow named Catherine along the way. There are Leading Players and other players throughout the show who are trying to get Pippin to plunge into despair and self-destruction. To find out what happens in the end, come see Pippin at St. Xavier this weekend and next.

When asked her favorite part about being in Pippin, junior Elise Coughlan said, “being in Pippin has been such a wonderful experience because I get to share the stage with people I love while creating something truly amazing.”

March 23 at 7 pm
March 24 at 2 and 7 pm
