Sacred Heart’s annual Open House was Sunday, Dec. 3 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. The Open House is a great opportunity for all sixth through eighth graders to catch a glimpse of what being a Valkyrie is about.

This year’s Open House had record attendance with the help of open house co-chairs, seniors Lucy Hubbs and Elizabeth Heuser. They came up with the idea to open up the third floor to prospective students and parents so they could see the SHA freshman experience.

“It was a lot of hard work, but it ended up working out and becoming a succesful Open House,” said Hubbs.

In the gym, there was a donut wall, photo booth and performances by the cheer and dance teams. A trolley travelled to the UAC for performances by SHA’s “Fiddler on the Roof” and the Madrigals.

The placement test is this Saturday, Dec. 9 at 9:00 a.m. for future Valkyries to begin their journey at SHA.
