Open House Recap

This past Sunday, Sacred Heart Academy held their annual open house for prospective students. The open house was open to all, but was directed toward 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.

Open House chairs Ryan Gahm and Emily Fry, as well as the ambassador team, spent months planning this event. When asked about the planning process, Gahm said “This year we went with no theme and I really think that helped center the open house around Sacred Heart instead of making the theme fit what Sacred Heart has to offer.”

This year was one of Sacred Heart’s biggest turnouts. The open house was limited to two floors of the school, which allowed for easier access to each department. This year, those who came were able to see everything SHA has to offer.

“The energy in the building was upbeat. I was thrilled with how it went and I was impressed with the students and teachers and their enthusiasm about Sacred Heart,” said Gahm.

The open house was timed perfectly, with the placement test being held this Saturday, Dec. 10.
